If anyone elses children are like mine they have been counting down the days to when they can start counting down the days! The Girls were super excited this morning as they finally got to open their calendars after having to look at them for over 2 weeks. Seren was so sweet, she wanted her sister Ffreya to go first as it was the first time she has had an advent calendar. She was only 4 months old last year and although I admit I was tempted to buy her one and help her out on the chocolate side of things, I admittedly was a very good mummy and resisted the temptation.
This morning they were all giggly and Ffreya was very wide-eyed at the revelation that there was chocolate inside the doors of her calendar… I get the feeling keeping it away from her now just got a heck of a lot harder.
Another big deal was the decorations, someone (ok it was me) very stupidly told Seren we would try to get the christmas decorations up on the 1st December…. anyone know where November went?? I havent had anywhere near the time I wanted to sort some space out in the living room for the blooming tree and not even sure I fancy fighting with it for an hour or two so the children and cats can have it all back down by the end of tonight!
