The lovely MAM sent us some of the few things we have yet to try from their range and at 17 months Ffreya really needed them. We recieved a MAM baby bowl and Cutlery and Ffreya just couldn’t wait to try them out.
I loved the baby bowl (RRP £5.99) straight away as it has a removable suction ring that can secure the bowl to a high chair or similar surface and a lid making it perfect for when we visit places and the beast doesn’t finish her meal first time. The bowl is also cleverly designed with 2 different levels in it, the slight dip makes it easier for the little one to scoop up food and it really worked well.
The fork and spoon set (RRP £3.25) were also great, with soft and curved handles making them easier to hold and keep hold of.

The true test came at breakfast….. Ffreya was allowed to feed herself….
We started well, Ffreya was able to use the spoon and bowl with ease and did a great job of feeding herself I felt very proud!
And……
This was our end result, a full and satisfied, as well as pleased with herself and VERY messy baby!
Great pictures! It is great when they start feeding themselves I have some very similar pictures with bright green food (think it was avocado!)

i use the bottles so may invest in some of these, weaning is imminent!! arrrggghhh
These look great, love the idea of the suction cup for the bowl. I will be investing in these as my little girl is 17 months and just can’t master spoonfeeding herself, these look much easier for her to use.
